Patricia Morris

MORRIS, Patricia - Age 95, of Linden, passed away December 7, 2020. A private service will be held with burial in Fairview Cemetery in Linden. Those desiring may make contributions to The Linden United Methodist Church Landscaping Fund or Ascension Hospice. Born Anna Patricia Murphy on April 9, 1925 in Gaines, MI, the daughter of Frank and Ida Catherine (Webb) Murphy. Patricia was a 1943 graduate of Linden High School. She was married to Roy C. Morris; he preceded her in death on August 15, 1978. Patricia was a member of The Linden United Methodist Church for over 80 years.  She had worked at Alpine Grocery Store and the Linden Laundromat for many years, after the passing of her husband. Patricia enjoyed spending time outdoors working in her yard and in her garden and reading her Bible daily.  She loved watching her children and grandchildren play sports and other school activities such as concerts and Marching Band. Pat was also an avid U of M fan. Rain or shine, you could always find Pat at McDonald's in the morning having coffee with the gang. Surviving are her children, Michael (Marcia) Morris, Cheryl Morris, Randall (Cindy) Morris, Colleen (Greg) Dyke, Kathleen (Norm) Butts; grandchildren, Jason, Ryan, Kelly, Jeff, Matt, Stephanie, Joshua, Zachery, Cody and Danielle; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Jackie Burkett.
