STAPLES, Laura - Age 58, of New Hudson, passed away August 18, 2022. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Visitation will be held from 12 PM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to C.S. Mott Children's Hospital. Laura was born February 19, 1964 in Camp LeJeune, NC, the daughter of Clarence and Margaret (Spencer) Hemenway. Laura enjoyed reading, needlepoint and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, James; sons, James (Ashley) and William; 15 grandchildren; parents, Clarence and Margaret; seven siblings; father-in-law, Dr. James Staples.
