Edward Dickey

Dickey, Edward W. - Age 70, of  Fenton, died October 23, 2022. Funeral services will be held  11 AM Thursday, October 27  at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Visitation will be held  5-8 PM Wednesday October 26; and 10 AM until the time of the funeral at 11 AM Thursday October 27.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a local animal shelter of one's choice.

Edward  was born  November 15, 1951 in BonneTerre, Missouri, the son of Joseph L. Dickey and Carolyn M. (Dix) Dickey. He married Jamie Ann Cargill on October 24, 1987. He retired from General Motors with many years of service. Ed enjoyed fishing and golfing. He had enjoyed Muzzle Loading competitions with his son Cullen in earlier years. Ed was very handy. He was a self taught contractor and built the log cabin home he and Jamie shared. He loved his pets Max, Rocky, and Hux. He loved his grandchildren and was very involved in their lives. Ed will be greatly missed by his friends and family!

Surviving are: his wife of 35 years Jamie; son Cullen (Maureen) Dickey of Howell; and grandsons, Preston and Gavin. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Joseph Dickey; and sister Phyllis Carney . Tributes may be shared at  www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
