David Slayton

Slayton, David Wesley --  Age 83, of Grand Blanc, died December 3, 2022. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center,  6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. Those desiring may make contributions to the veterans organization of your choice. David was born October 30, 1939 in Eleven Point, Arkansas, the son of Joseph Slayton and Barbara (Stevens) Slayton. David served in the U.S. Army. He married Barbara McWilliams on July 18, 1964 in Flint. He retired from General Motors (Metal Fab) in 1993 with 30 years of service. Surviving are: wife of 58 years, Barbara; brother Richard Slayton; sister Elizabeth Bradford; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Barbara Jo, Robert, Luluvon, Mary, Bill, Sally, and Danny. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
