BURCH (Cowan), CHERYL of Davison, Michigan (9/18/1958 - 6/4/2020) has joined her mother (Joyce) and father (Gerald) in peaceful rest after a long battle with COVID-19. Funeral services will be held at 6 PM Monday June 8 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, with live streaming from our website from 5-7 PM Monday. Visitation will be 11 AM - 8 PM Monday. Those desiring may make contributions to Job's Daughter of the Eastern Stars. She is survived by her husband, Al and children Alyson (Alex) and Aaron (Sada), grandchildren Vanna and Allora, brothers Charles (Deb) and Thomas, sisters Holly (John) and Mary (Warren).

A kind and loving woman, Cheryl was married to Al on August 11, 1984 after seven years of dating. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, visiting her daughter in Iron Mountain, and playing with her four blue heelers. She was a dedicated employee of the State of Michigan, working as an auditor for the Michigan Department of Transportation and Michigan Transportation Commission for 16 years. She played clarinet and enjoyed music and going to concerts with Al and riding on the back of his motorcycle.

Cheryl loved with her every minute of life. She took great pride in both of her children’s accomplishments, with both children serving honorably in the United States Army Reserve as military musicians. Her daughter began service in the Michigan State Police in 2016 and her son as an industrial scientist in 2016. She loved seeing her grandchildren every Sunday and cooking their favorite meal, macaroni and cheese with dinosaur nuggets.
