Yvonne Lou NYMAN

NYMAN, Yvonne L., (Sliger) age 74, of Davison, went home to be with the Lord surrounded with her family at her side on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Genesys Health Park. A Celebration of Life Service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Davison V.F.W. Post #4087, 9474 Lapeer Rd., Davison. The family will receive friends at 12:00 p.m. Saturday until time of service. Memorial donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House. Yvonne was born February 26, 1935 in Flint, the daughter of the late Harry C. and Mildred E. (Vreeland) Sliger. She was a graduate of Davison High School, and married Donald Nyman in Flint on October 23, 1954. Surviving are her loving husband of 55 years, Donald; 3 daughters, Robin Berkey and husband, Brian of Flint, Tamara Gates and husband, Jim of Goodrich, Kimberly Spillers and husband, Rod of Canton; 6 grandchildren, Jarrod and Shannon Berkey, Nicholas Ireland (fiance, Nicole), Anthony Ireland (Meagan), Amy Spillers (Corzell), Melissa Spillers; 3 great-grandchildren, Hailey, Tyler, Malaya; 2 sisters-in-law, Mona Kay Sliger, Loretta Nyman; brother-in-law, Gordon Nyman and wife, Gloria; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Leo C. Sliger and brother-in-law, Albert Nyman.
