JOHNSON, Yvonne Diane - age 75, of Flint, died March 22, 2017. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Monday, March 27, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton. Visitation will be held 11 AM - 1 PM Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Yvonne D. Johnson Memorial Fund c/o Sharp Funeral Homes. Yvonne was born August 17, 1941 in Fenton, the daughter of Ivan and Margaret Joy (Lemen) Griffin. She was a wonderfully funny, extremely independent, fiercely strong, brave and very intelligent woman. She loved her children and all creatures, big and small, especially her cat, Annabel. Surviving are: daughter, Jennifer Johnson and Karna Man Sigh; son, Jason Daniel; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her husband, soul mate, and love of her life, Mike Johnson; parents; grandmother; grandfather; and former mayor of Fenton, Harry Lemen.
