WILLIAMS, Winnifred Lavern - age 92, of Bowling Green, OH, formerly of Lake Fenton died Thursday, March 8, 2007 in OH. Services will be held 11 AM Monday, March 12, 2007 at Oakwood Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Lake Fenton United Methodist Church or Southern Care Hospice of Toledo, OH. Mrs. Williams was born November 3, 1914 in MO. She married Gene Williams in 1942 and he preceded her in death in 1991. Mrs. Williams was a graduate of Eastern Michigan University. She was an English and Foreign Language teacher at Lake Fenton School for many years. Mrs. Williams enjoyed jewelry making, pottery, and swimming and had an interest in historical lighthouses. Mostly she enjoyed her family and grandchildren. Surviving are: three children, Dan Williams of Grand Blanc, Judy and husband, Glenn Shields of OH, Cathey and husband, William Holley of IL; four grandchildren, Kimberley Jones, Lori Corvino, Scott Holley and Kristy Pyscher; three great-grandchildren.
