Winifred Mary Mundy

MUNDY, Winifred Mary - a Gentle soul - Age 85, of Gaines/Argentine Township, died Friday, February 3, 2006 at Holly Convalescent Center. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, February 8, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Rev. David Ray officiating. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be held 7-9 PM Monday, 2-5 and 7-9 PM Tuesday. Those desiring may contributions to the South Mundy United Methodist Church. Winifred was born May 5, 1920 in Standish the daughter of Fred and Mae A. (Labarge) Wolfe .She was married to Kenneth Alton Mundy; he preceded her in death December 31, 1982. Mrs. Mundy worked as a Pediatric ward clerk at St. Joseph Hospital for 20 years, and had worked at Mansour Grocery. She was a member of the South Mundy United Methodist Church and A.B.W.A.  She enjoyed traveling and reading. She is survived by four children, Carol McAlister of Fenton, Gary and wife Loretta of Gaines, Darrell and wife Jeane of Plaino, TX, Gail and husband Robert Barr of Orlando, FL; ten grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
