Winifred C. FIELD

FIELD, Winifred C. - age 100, of Waterford, died Friday, December 30, 2011. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 East Broad Street, Linden, with chaplain Hank Messing officiating. Interment in Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens, Novi. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday from 12:00 PM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Assoication. Winifred was born January 21, 1911 in Birmingham, the daughter of George and Isabelle (Allison)Spencer. She married Lester H. Field and he preceded her in death in 1989. Surviving are: 3 children, Samuel Field of Alpena, Jeanette and husband Theodore Myers of Linden and Judy Measel of Fenton; 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; She was also preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Russell Field; son-in-law, Leroy Measel; daughter-in-law, Shirley Field.
