ESKEW, Winford E. Â Age 75, of Swartz Creek, died Friday, March 12, 2004 at Genesys Health Park. Visitation will be held 1-4 and 7-9 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. A service will be held 7:30 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Services will also be held 2 PM Tuesday, March 16, 2004 at Landess Funeral Home, Campbell, MO. Visitation will be held 11 AM until the time of service Tuesday in Missouri. Interment will be held at Piggott Cemetery, Piggott, AR. Mr. Eskew was born November 13, 1928 in Holcomb, MO, the son of Daniel Fleming and Lilly (Bronson) Eskew. He married Wanda L. Pritchett on April 10, 1955 in Hernando, MO and she preceded him in death on November 3, 1992. Mr. Eskew retired from General Motors V-8 in 1991 after 24 years of service. He was a member of U.A.W. Local #659. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Surviving are: three sons, Keith Eskew and wife, Norma of Swartz Creek, Dennis Eskew and wife, Brenda, Benjamin Bud Eskew and wife, Connie, all of Flint Township; seven grandchildren; brother, Faye Eskew and wife, Carol of Derby, KS; sister, Irene and husband, Jewel Dowdy of West Plains, MO; sister-in-law, Ruby Eskew of Puxico, MO; several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by: sister, Ruby Spears; four brothers, Junior, Bill, Millard and L.D. Eskew; infant daughter.
