Win was born into this life on August 12, 1932 to the late Luther & Gwenjanetta Hutcheson in Sale Creek, Tennessee. His family would migrate north to Flint, Michigan where he would graduate from Bendle High School, class of 1950. His thirst for knowledge and drive for success would exhaust the average human. He would begin his studies and eventually become 32nd degree Freemason and get his certificate in Radio Electronic School and opened a Win's TV & Radio Repair Shop . While doing this he attended General Motors Institute and received a degree in electrical engineering. His other ventures included serving on the Bentley Board of Education, Bentley PTA President, Board of Governors of Genesee County, Electrical Association and The Buick Apprentice Program. Win was proud of starting the electrical apprentice program at Fisher Body Grand Blanc. His next ventures was his biggest and the one that everyone doubted. In 1970, he opened his first Win's Electrical Supply Company location. With determination he ventured into opening 5 more locations, Burton, Flint, Owosso and Otisville. Win was a loyal and hard working man; his many years of successful business is a testimony to that.
He and his wife, Pauline enjoyed many years of traveling in addition to the winter months they spent in Florida. Together they ventured to Ireland, England, France, Alaska, The Caribbean, Whales just to name a few. The most memorable might be the trip to Scotland where they celebrated a "mock wedding" on their Honeymoon trip. Those who knew him best knew Win to be an organized individual, everything had a proper place. And it can not go unmentioned that he was lucky, especially when it came to the slot machines!
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Pauline; son, Kenneth (Yvonne) Hutcheson; daughter, Karen (Tom) McDaniel; stepson, Wade (Rebecca "Becky") Vanevery; sibling, Eva Lynne Mainer; 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and many friends. Anyone who knew Win knows that he never met a stranger, only new best friends.
Win was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Gwenjanetta (Gene) Nix; his father and stepmother, Luther (Dean) Hutcheson; brothers, Carlton, William and James (Norman) Hutcheson; sister, Mary Ann Gould; son, Larry Hutcheson; granddaughters, Tracey Lynn Hutcheson and Jennifer Korth and his first wife and mother of his children, Shirley Nail. He was also preceded in death by his furry companions, Jack and Tammy who brought his busy world much peace and joy
