Wilma O'Brien

O'BRIEN, Wilma Joyce - age 72, of Swartz Creek, died Monday, October 22, 2007 at Brian's House Hospice in Davison. Services will be held 12 Noon Friday, October 26 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, with Pastor Dr. J.D. Landis officiating. Visitation will be held 1 - 9 PM Thursday, 10 AM - 12 Noon Friday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Swartz Creek United Methodist Church Endowment Fund or Brian's House Hospice, 1515 Cal Dr., Davison, MI 48423. Mrs. O'Brien was born June 9, 1935 in Brown City, MI, the daughter of Thomas and Mildred (Clink) Burgess. She married James J. O'Brien on September 7, 1957. Mrs. O'Brien was an active member of Swartz Creek United Methodist Church. She retired from Chase Bank (formerly Genesee Bank) working at the Swartz Creek Office and Main Office. Mrs. O'Brien enjoyed bowling and playing Bunko. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society. Surviving are: husband of 50 years, James; three daughters, Terril Lee Frank and husband Robert of Roswell, GA, Sandra O'Brien Hughes and husband Patrick of Tega Cay, SC, Sheri O'Brien Feller and husband Thomas of Fort Mill, SC; four grandchildren, Shelby Lynn Frank, Rachel Patrica Frank, James Thomas Feller, Levi Scott Feller; three sisters, Betty June St. Germaine, Helen Ruth Fausch, Shirley Ann Machiela; half-sister, Jean Shepard Johnson; many nieces and nephews.
