Wilma Jean CORRELL

CORRELL, Wilma Jean "Willie" Age 78, of Flint, died Friday, July 1, 2011. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, July 7, 2011 at Grace Lutheran Church, 2526 Corunna Rd., Flint. Pastor Steven Lockman will officiate. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 1:00-8:00 PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek and from 10:00AM until the time of service Thursday at church. Those desiring may make contributions to Grace Lutheran Church. Wilma was born February 26, 1933 in Flint, the daughter of John and Marguerite (Hill) Carlson and was a 1951 graduate of Central High School. She was married to Elwood Thomas Correll on August 23, 1952 in Flint. Wilma was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. She enjoyed bowling, traveling, coffee club and bingo with friends and loved spending time with family. Surviving are: husband, Elwood "Woody"; daughters, Karen Jean Correll and Kim Renee Carpenter; grandchildren, Karie Scofield and Steven Scofield; nieces, Joanne (Bob) Keeler and Nancy Proffer; sister-in-law, Peggie Laurent and many nieces and nephews.
