William "Bill" Schumacher

Schumacher, William Nelson "Bill"  - Age 68, of  Grand Blanc, died December 21, 2019. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Sunday, December 29 at Sharp Funeral Home,  6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Deacon Ron Kenney officiating. Visitation will be held 3-8 PM Saturday, and 12 Noon until the time of the service Sunday. Bill was born March 11, 1951 in Flint the son of John Ottaway Schumacher and Nelda Rae (Bailey) Schumacher. He graduated from Grand Blanc High School in 1969, and then Michigan State University in 1971 with a degree in Landscape and Design. He married Mary Beth Bigra on October 25, 1975 in Flint. Bill worked for Hamady's for 18 years, and the Aerotek for 15 years. He was an avid fisherman and just loved the outdoors. He was a true people person and never met a stranger. Surviving are: wife Mary Beth; two daughters  (who he lovingly introduced as "his boys") Leslie (Scott) Gatica of Linden, Stephanie (Michael) Kendall of Grand Blanc; four grandchildren, Brendan, Reagan, Hayden, and Samantha; siblings, Susan (John) Foster, Greg (Tammy) Schumacher, Sandy (Mark) Robinson, Lori (Ron) Allis; many nieces and nephews.
