William "Bill" Ertel

Ertel, William Carl (Bill) - Age 80, of Flint, passed away in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his wife and daughters. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. Bill is survived by his wife, Lois of 58 years; daughters, Kathy(Alfredo) Villarreal, Debbie (Greg) Maroun; granddaughters, Christina Villarreal, Andrea (Blake) Anderson; grandson, Nate Maroun; great grandsons, Carter and Trey. He worked at General Motors, retiring in 1993. He loved woodworking, traveling and sending time with his family. Bill enjoyed a second home at Houghton Lake for many years. He loved fishing, camping, golf, and his friends. Bill especially loved his grandkids, going to every recital, school program and sporting event. A celebration of Bill's life is planned for Sunday September 13th at Bristol United Methodist Church at 2PM. Chaplain Donald Bennett officiating.
