William Lawrence Westervelt

WESTERVELT, William Lawrence - age 87 of Birmingham, died February 6, 2024. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, February 9, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473 with Deacon Ron Kenney officiating. Interment will follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held 3-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home where a rosary will be prayed at 7 PM Thursday at the funeral home. William was born September 8, 1936 in Flint, MI, the son of Robert L. and Marie (Schlee) Westervelt. He married Margaret Jacobs on August 29, 1959. William was an engineer with American Motors Company (Chrysler Corporation) and after retirement he owned and operated an automotive parts company for antique and classic cars. Surviving are: wife, Margaret; son, William R. Westervelt and wife, Chris; two granddaughters, Katrina M. and husband, Antonio Belmontes and Megan Boyer and significant other, Nathan Keesler; brother, David Westervelt and wife, Debbie; many nieces and nephews.
