Westcott, William "Bill" Clayton -- Age 76, of Holly, died Saturday May 2, 2015. Funeral services will be held 12:30PM Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Burial will follow in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be held 4PM - 8PM Wednesday and 11AM until time of service Thursday at the funeral home. Bill was born in Toledo, Ohio, the son of the late Raymond and Delores (Tharpe) Westcott. Bill had a deep devotion to our Lord Jesus Christ. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Trenton for many years, where he served as an usher. Bill loved his country and was a proud Veteran of the Marine Corps. He loved flying and earned his commercial pilot license in 1966 from Scottsdale Aviation in Arizona. Bill enjoyed traveling, flying, boating, fishing, gardening, golfing, music, animals, nature, classic cars and western movies. He was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with family, friends and entertaining all with his superb ability to imitate sound effects and people. Surviving are: sisters, Janice Songe of Milford, Sherry (Richard) Hernandez of Highland, Barbara (Michael) Gillespie of CA; and much loved nieces and nephews. Bill has throughout the years donated to numerous charities and volunteered his time to those in need. He will be remembered for his kind heart and his sense of humor.
