Weller, William Vincent Russell- Age 81, of Flint, formerly of Bay City, died February 6, 2021. Bill was born December 31, 1939 in Bay City, the son of William Lincoln and Madeline (Gwizdala) Weller. He graduated from Bay City Central High School, then joined the U.S. Navy where he served 4 years and was honorably discharged in 1966. He then went on to get his BA in Marketing from Ferris State University in 1969. Bill worked as a Sales Representative and had resided in Flint for many years. Bill was a member of the American Legion Post #413 and Moose Club #430 in Fenton. Bill enjoyed hosting his annual Weller's Wild Game Dinner, Trivia nights at Scooter's and the Moose Club. He loved to celebrate Christmas with friends and family at his annual Christmas party where he displayed all of his beautiful decorations. Bill was an avid U of M fan and had season tickets for many years. He loved tailgating with his family and friends. Bill enjoyed reading, hunting, fishing and watching all U of M sports. Surviving are: sister-in-law, Nancy Weller; two nieces, Wendy (John) Murray and Ashley (Andrew) Kaczanowski; great-niece and nephews, Charlee, Jack and Jake Murray and AJ Kaczanowski. Step-children, Kara (Denny) McGregor Gordon, Kristin (Ryan) Bilbey, and Erik (Jessica) McGregor. He also leaves behind many special friends and cousins. He was preceded in death by: his parents; brother, Chuck Weller; sister, Marilyn Trznadel; aunts, uncles and cousins. Interment will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held 12:30 PM to 4 PM on Monday, August 23, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc.
