William George SWEET

SWEET, William George -- Age 74, of Swartz Creek, died May 4, 2011 at his residence. Funeral Services will be held 1 PM Monday, May 9 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd, Flint. Visitation will be 11AM-1PM Monday. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Shriners Childrens Hospital. William was born May 18, 1936 in Flint, the son of William and Vera Sweet. He retired from Universal Systems as a Journeyman Electrician and was a member of IBEW #948, OES 299, Elf Khurafeh and a past master of Masonic Lodge 236. Surviving are: wife, Somnuek; mother, Vera Sweet; two children, Robert Sweet of Burton; Sue Threet of Davison; five stepchildren, Suchin Koster of Kentwood, Khuanla Wauchope of Wyoming, MI, Joseph Offord, David Offord of Potterville, Catherine Offord of Grand Blanc; ten grandchildren, Amber Sweet, Ashley (Brian) Hart, Melissa (Harry) Munro, Renee Threet, David Koster, Gideon Koster, John Wauchope IV, Mick Wauchope, Ivy Pettegrew, Kharma Offord; five great grandchildren; siblings, Richard Sweet, Jane (Richard) Allred, Ronald (Victoria) Sweet; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
