STRATTON, William L "Bill", "Pinky the Clown"- Age 78, of Grand Blanc, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020. Funeral Services will be 6PM Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Pastor Daniel Wine officiating. Visitation will be 10AM-12PM and 3PM-6PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Bill was born May 15, 1942 in Flint, the son of Leo and Helen (Sutton) Stratton. He graduated from Flint Southwesten High School. As a youth he was employed at the first McDonald's restaurant on Saginaw Street in Flint. Bill proudly served in the U.S. Army 3rd Armored Division. He was a 33rd degree Mason. He was employed as a Supervisor at GM for 32 plus years. Bill was known as "Pinky the Clown" and was the former president of the Shriners Clown Unit. He was a member of the Flint Masonic Temple. Bill enjoyed golfing, hunting, and especially coaching his children and grandchildren's football and softball teams. He is survived by: wife, Patsy; children, Sherri (Bryan Hardin) Stratton, and Perry (Kellie) Stratton; grandchildren, Savannah Stratton, Ridley Stratton, Ashley (Nick) Campbell, and Lance Schopieray; great grandchildren, Karson Campbell, and Roczen Campbell.
