William "Steve" Clevenger

CLEVENGER, William "Steve" "Pop Pop" - age73, of Gladwin, MI, died October 12, 2023. A celebration of life will be held Friday October 20, 2023 4-7pm at Beale St Smokehouse BBQ, 1492 N. Leroy St., Fenton MI 48430. Steve was born January 19, 1950 in Sweetwater, TN, the son of William Robert and Mary Faye (Williams) Clevenger. He married Victoria M. Hilton on January 5, 1970. Steve served the Florida National Guard and retired from General Motors as a supervisor. He enjoyed boating, fishing, spending time outdoors, cutting his lawn (even if it didn't need it) and grilling. Steve was a family man and was especially proud to be Pop Pop to his three grandsons. Surviving are: wife, Victoria; two daughters, Kim Clevenger and Sue Clevenger-Smith and husband, Jacob Smith; three grandsons, Brennan, Marcus and Spencer Smith; siblings, Diane (Tony) Mayberry, Janet (Dennis) Rowe, Michael (Lisha) Clevenger, and Robin Bush and husband, Keith Bush (deceased); many nieces and nephews that he adored. Steve was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Carol Morrison (sissy) and her husband Dave Morrison (Turk). Arrangements entrusted to Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W.
