William Stark

STARK, William "Howard" - Age 79, of Fenton, died Friday, September 2, 2016. Funeral services will be held 12 Noon, Monday September 5, 2016 at Bristol Road Church of Christ, 1315 W Bristol Rd, Flint. Brian Stogner officiating. Burial will be Tuesday in Tyrone Memory Gardens, Fenton. Visitation will be held 10:00 am - 11:45 am Monday at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to the Bristol Road Church of Christ. Howard was born March 6, 1937 in Waller, TX, the son of Edmond and Anna (Landrum) Stark. He married Glenda Hippensteel March 31, 1958 in Grand Blanc. Howard worked at GM Chevrolet as a Machinist/ Tool & Die for 30 years. He was a member of Bristol Road Church of Christ. Surviving are: His beloved wife of 58 years, Glenda; 6 children, Carol (Don) Miller of Holland, Davette (Rick) Shelton of Fenton, Teresa Stark of Colorado, Carrie (Loren) Conly of Fenton, Steven Stark of Holland, and Nathan Stark of Holland; 20 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Sam and Louis Stark; sister, Doris Warnack; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Rick Sloan; daughter, Sher Toburen; and siblings, Lillian, Edna, Eula Mae, Edward, and Alfred.
