William J. RHYNE, Jr.

RHYNE, William J., Jr. - age 61, of Swartz Creek, died Monday, July 26, 2010 in Hubbard Lake, MI. Services will be held 11 AM Friday, July 30, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 4-9 PM Thursday at the funeral home. William was born December 13, 1948 in Flint, the son of William J. and Marguerite (Ginter) Rhyne, Sr. He was a graduate of St. John Vianney High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp serving for two years and retired from Flint Metal Fab after 37 years. William had a green thumb. William participated in Dances with Dirt Relay race with the Mud Slingers. He enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing but most of all his family. Surviving are: daughter, Monica and husband, Edward Klimek of Goodrich; son, Bill Rhyne and fiancée, Jen of Flint; five grandchildren, Jayden, Payton and Jonathan Rhyne, Kali and Kyler Klimek; mother, Marguerite Rhyne of Hubbard Lake; three siblings, Joseph Rhyne of Hubbard Lake, Patti Kostka and fiancé, Dave Gerow of Davison, Timothy Rhyne and wife, Sandy of Flint; nieces and nephews, David and Harrison Kostka, Tim and Katie Rhyne.
