William Clifford Reuther

REUTHER, William Clifford - Age 71, of Grand Blanc Twp., died Sunday, December 26, 2004 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Mr. Reuther was born in Flint on May 10, 1933, the son of Oscar and Teresa (Rancour) Reuther. He was a 1950 graduate of St. Michael's Catholic High School, a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was a retired Tool and Die Engineer at GM BOC plant in Grand Blanc. He had lived in the Grand Blanc area the past 23 years. He and Charlene Austin were married on June 2, 1982. Surviving are: his wife, Charlene; daughter, Michelle and husband David Rodden of Beecher; son, Douglas and wife Karen Leet of Gardenerville, NV; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren. Further survivors include sisters-in-law, Patricia Miller of Stanton, Kay and husband Don Kramer of Florida, Sandra and husband Carl Smith of Stanton, Betty Reuther of Linden, Colette Reuther of Davison; brother-in-law, Michael and wife Linda Austin; several nieces and nephews; and 'Mutley', his dog and special buddy. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Donald and Edward. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11AM Thursday, December 30, 2004 at St. John Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton, Davison, Rev. Fr. Andrew Czajkowski officiating. Burial will follow in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Sharp Funeral Home, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., from 2-5 and 7-9PM Wednesday. On Thursday, Mr. Reuther will lie in state at the church from 10AM until service time. Memorial donation may be given to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
