William Rector

RECTOR, William Louis - age 84, of Fenton, died Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Genesys Health Park. Services will be held 12 PM Friday, January 16, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton with Pastor Doug Leveque officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Fenton. Visitation will be held 10 AM - 12 PM Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Rector was born October 2, 1930 in Fenton, the son of Paul and Eleanor (Seitz) Rector. He married Lorraine Ball on February 10, 1979. Mr. Rector was a self-employed mechanic in the ceramic tile and marble trade. He was a member of the Hi Lo Hunt Club, enjoyed golfing, fishing, and hunting. He was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and loved his kids and family and was a great "Papa". Surviving are: wife, Lorraine; children, Jeff (Ann) Rector, Laura Rector, Rodney Raymond, Michael Cool, Jane (Mike) Tracy, Andy (Robbie) Cool, Matt (Michelle) Cool, Sterling (Tracy) Cool; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and many beloved cousins.
