William W. Munro

MUNRO, William W. -- Age 71, of Fenton, died July 12, 2011 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Private services will be held. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association or the Old Newsboys of Flint. Bill was born April 30, 1940 in Flint, the son of Alfred and Catherine (Beattie) Munro. He was married to Julie Roberts in 1985 in Flint. He had worked for General Motors than started his own company, Munro Sales Industrial Supply Co. Bill was an avid skier, boater, and antique boat and car collector. He enjoyed spending time restoring boats and cars. Surviving are: wife, Julie; two daughters, Heather and Elizabeth, both of Fenton; and sister in law, Clara. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Don.
