William Moeller

MOELLER, William Henry "Bill" - Age 86, of Flint Twp., passed away March 17, 2022 at his home. A memorial service will be held 11 AM Friday, April 22, 2022 at First Presbyterian Church of Flint, 746 S. Saginaw St., Flint. The family will receive friends from 3-7 PM Thursday, April 21 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek and from 10AM until the time of service Friday at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to The Hurley Foundation, Flint Institute of Arts, or the Kitty Moeller Fund, Flint Women and Girls Fund through the Community Foundation of Greater Flint. William was born February 15, 1936 in Detroit, the son of William Henry and Edna Hanna Theresa (Newmeller) Moeller. He married Kathryn Anne Wilson on March 8, 1958 in Detroit. Bill earned his Bachelor of Business Administration and Masters of Business Administration from University of Michigan and his Post Graduate Certificate from University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business. He was an Investment Advisor in Flint for 61 years. His community involvement included: the Board of Directors for Flint Institute of Arts; Treasurer of Hurley Foundation; University of Michigan Project Healthy Schools Advisory Council; Sloan Museum Advisory Committee; Flint Institute of Music; University of Michigan Flint, Capital Campaign co-chair; First Presbyterian Church; and National Inflation Advisory Council under President Ford. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn "Kitty" Moeller; children, James (Marsha) Moeller of McLean, VA, Jill (Ryan) Bell of Santa Barbara, CA, Elizabeth (John DeGolyer) Moeller of Los Angeles, CA; grandchildren, Michael (Brenna Welch) Moeller, Jordan (Francesca Betancourt) Moeller, Paige Gribb, Parker Gribb, Whitney (Michael) Rogers, Parker (Nastassja) Bell; great-grandchildren, Beckett Moeller and Emmett Rogers.
