William Mills

MILLS, William Ellis - Age 80,  formerly of Manistique and Flint, died Monday, August 26, 2019.  Services will be held 5:00 PM Friday, September 13, 2019 at Sharp  Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint.  Pastor Mark Cox officiating.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4 PM Friday until the time of the service.  Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association or to the ALS Association.
Bill was born April 24, 1939 in Paragould, Arkansas, the son of Francis William and Linna Clara (True) Mills.  He was a 1958 graduate of Flint Central High School.  He married Mary Ann Schaefer September 22, 1962, who preceded him in death March 5, 2003.  Bill retired from the Sheet Metal Workers International Association Local #7.
Surviving are: his son, Kenneth Mills of Indiana; grandson, Zachery Mills of Utah; sister, Jay Ann Mills-McDonald and husband, Dennis McDonald of Michigan; and several nieces and nephews.  He was also preceded in death by his parents; son, David Mills; and brother, Hilton Mills.  Tributes may be posted at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
