William Lake

Lake, William Dean - Age 66, of Flushing, died July 25, 2022. Services will be held 11 AM Friday July 29, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 10 AM until the time of the service Friday July 29.

William was born July 2, 1956 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the son of Konrad and Lois (Martineau) Lake. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He married Frances Repshinska on December 28, 1988. He worked for GE Medical Systems for 28 years and then worked for and retired from McLaren. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending time in Northern Michigan. Bill was known for his kind-heartedness; he would do anything for anyone. The most important thing in his life, and his main focus, was family, his wife, his children, and his grandchildren.

Surviving are: wife of 33 years, Frances; children, Nichole Lake, Kelly (Bruce) Power, Timothy Lake, Jonathan Lake (Alyssa Kaplan), Joseph (Becca) Spencer, Eric (Lydia) Spencer, Elizabeth (Bruce) Hausaman; sixteen grandchildren; mother, Lois Lake; siblings, Judy (Fred) Tenbusch, Randy (Tracy) Lake, Mary (Scott) Halpin, John Lake, many nieces and nephews.
