William Kautman Sr.

KAUTMAN, William Edward Sr. - of Linden, died Thursday, October 15, 2015. No local services will be held. A private memorial will be held at Camp Sorefoot, Mackinac County at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions to Fenton Adopt-A-Pet, 13575 Fenton Road, Fenton 48430. William was born in Flint, the son of Edward and Luella (Simmons) Kautman. William retired from the U.S. Navy Reserves. He also retired from General Motors as a Machine Repairman. He was a member of the Linden Jaycees. William is survived by his wife, Irene; children, Shirley (David M.) Kautman-Jones, Carol Kautman, Kelly Kautman, Bill Jr. (Trisha) Kautman, Rudy (Helga) Kautman; grandchildren, Daniel (Allison), Stephanie (Justin), Michael (Melissa), Michelle (Derrick), Scott (Ashley), Rudy, Meghan and Madison; great-grandchildren, Caroline, Gage, Alexander and David. William was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Frank Kautman MIA/POW in the Korean War, Nancy (Kautman) Eisenhower and James Kautman.
