William Irwin

IRWIN, William Hugh - Age 87, died April 23, 2017. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Pastor Emmerling will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Tuesday and 10-1 PM Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, Those desiring may make contributions to Westside Baptist Church. William was born January 20, 1930 in Holly, the son of John L. and Alice (Flewelling) Irwin. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp, serving in the Korean War and retire from A.C. after many years of service. William loved golfing and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; son, John (Theresa) Irwin; daughters, Paula (Duane) Edwards and Brenda Sackman; step-children, Jeannie (Ron) Caudle, Shane (Chris) Campbell, Debbie (Michael) Porter, Keith Clark; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Jean Irwin and Donna Wagner; brother, Gary Irwin.
