IGNACE, William Donald - Age 83, of Fenton, died Wednesday, April 27, 2016. Funeral services will be held 11AM Monday, May 2 at First Baptist Church of Fenton, 860 N. Leroy Street, Fenton. Pastor Josh Gates officiating. Burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Saturday and 1-8 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton; and 10-11 AM at church on Monday. Those desiring may make contributions to Reverence Hospice or First Baptist Church of Fenton. William was born April 20, 1933 in Flint, the son of George and Genevieve (Pazarski) Ignace. He married Connie (Powell) Geer May 26, 1973 in Howell. William worked at General Motors for several years, then went to Ford in Wixom until 2004, retiring after 39 1/2 years of service. William was a member of First Baptist Church of Fenton. He enjoyed TV repair, lawn mower repair, and was a "Jack of all trades, Master of none". William had a love and respect of nature, and enjoyed fishing and gardening. He loved his dog "Dukie". William was a true Disciple of Jesus Christ. Surviving are: his beloved wife, Connie; 3 daughters, Denise Tarnowsky of Grand Blanc, Susan (Lawrence) Hoage of California, and Rhonda (Michael) Sevick of Swartz Creek; 3 stepchildren, Cynthia Jarvis of Arizona, Laurel Jarvis of Texas, and Dale (Norma-Jean) Geer of Durand; grandson that he raised, John (Lisa) Louis; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and sister, Constance (Joseph) Palinsky.
