William John HOMMER

HOMMER, William John - Age 67, of Fenton, died Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at his residence. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Saturday, May 29, 2010 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Fenton. Visitation will be held at the church Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of Mass. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society or Adopt-A-Pet. Mr. Hommer was born June 30, 1942 in Muskegon, the son of Carl Charles and Uleutherius (Nevins) Hommer. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army. He married Ann Rice June 25, 1966 in Fenton. Mr. Hommer retired from Hamady Bros. after 26 years of service. He enjoyed camping, deer hunting, fishing and most of all his family. Surviving are: wife, Ann; 2 children, Timothy and wife Gina Hommer of Swartz Creek and Kerri and husband Timothy McArthur of Ortonville; 5 grandchildren, Alexandra and Matthew Hommer and Jessica, Brianna and Scott McArthur; mother-in-law, Frances Rice of Fenton.
