William E. HARRISON

HARRISON, William "Bill" E., age 82, of Swartz Creek, went to be with his Lord, Saturday, December 29, 2012 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held 11AM Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Trinity Assembly of God Church, 4363 W. Mt. Morris Rd., Mt. Morris. Pastor Larry Alverson officiating and Pastor Carl Halquist co-officiating. Burial at Crestwood Cemetery, Grand Blanc will follow services. Visitation will be held 2PM to 4PM and 6PM to 8PM Tuesday, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will also be held from 10AM until time of service at the church. Mr. Harrison was born June 4, 1930 the son of the late Guy Alexander and Ollie Mae (Abbey) Harrison. He married Wanda L. Pruiett in Angola, Indiana, October 7, 1950. Bill was a very active and outgoing person. He enjoyed traveling and being a snowbird in Arizona for 24 years. He was a great handyman, loved to hike with his wife, and enjoyed attending his grandchildren's events. Mr. Harrison was a very active member of Trinity Assembly of God and will be greatly missed by his friends there. Bill retired from AC Spark Plug with 38 years of service. Surviving are: wife, Wanda of Swartz Creek; children: Janice (Timothy) Wilson of Tecumseh MI, Rick (Linda) Harrison of Davison, Susan (Carter) Gonser of Lapeer, Denise (Stanley) Cole of Swartz Creek; grandchildren, Meg Wilson, John Wilson, Ben Cole, Mitchell Harrison, Daniel Cole; sister Rachel Haneline of Davison, many nieces and nephews.
