William Henry GOODGE

GOODGE, William Henry - age 80, of Siloam Springs, AR, formerly of Hartland, died Wednesday, Janaury 7, 2009 in Arkansas. Services will be held 1 PM Saturday, Janaury 17, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Interment will follow at Green's Corners Cemetery, Hadley, MI. Visitation will be held 10:30 AM until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Word of Life Fellowships, P.O. Box 600, Schroon Lake, NY 12870 (www.wol.org). Mr. Goodge was born February 28, 1928 in Detroit, the son of William Harold and Annabel (Franks) Goodge. He married Lorrain Alice Emmett in 1951 in Detroit. Mr. Goodge was a graduate of Detroit Schoold, Cass Tech and Detorit Bible College. He retired from Chrysler Corporation and was a pastor of the Baptist faith after retirement. Surviving are: three children, Carol and husband, Dr. Richard Ellis of Siloam Springs, AR, William Evan Goodge and wife, Laura of Hartland, Kevin E. Goodge and wife, Shelley of Grass Lake, MI; nine grandchildren; niece, Marion Kay Marsee of Detroit; nephews, Dan Kovac and wife, Cheryl of Howell; sister-in-law, Karen Stahl, KY.
