William Germain Sr.

GERMAIN, William F. Sr. Age 76, of Swartz Creek, died February 13, 2018. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Wednesday. William was a beloved husband and father. He was married to Patricia for over 51 years. Together, they have two children, Billy & Keri whom he meant the world to. He was also blessed with a new son-in-law, Shane Montgomery, who he also loved very much. Mr. Germain always put his family's needs first and foremost. And there was never anything they did without because of him!! He leaves behind many wonderful friends and families from his 32 years at General Motors, his time with the Flushing Police Department, and of course his years with numerous hockey & baseball families, as well as his friends he made over the years doing car cruises. He was preceded in death by his mother Eva Gillman, his best friends Bill Kerr, Dick Middleton, and most recently Tom (Mugsy) Maples. Along with his two very special nephews Rick Germain & Bruce Lauer. Bill, was a very generous & hard working man. He will be greatly missed by many friends and family he has had over the years!!
