William A. Fendt

FENDT, William A. - age 89, of Flint, died Sunday, September 24, 2006 at Avalon Hospice. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Rev. Audrey Charleton officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Clio. Visitation will be held 6-9 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Avalon Hospice. Mr. Fendt was born December 25, 1916 in Detroit, the son of John and Maria (Hamm) Fendt. He retired from Fisher Body in the Jig and Fixture Division and was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army. Surviving are: daughter, Karen Ely of San Francisco, CA; sister, Betty Brooks of Mt. Morris; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
