DONAHUE, William P. - age 78 of Fenton passed away May 31, 2019. Memorial Service 2PM Monday, June 10, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Homes Fenton Chapel 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor Mark Cox officiating. Visitation 11 AM until the time of service Monday. Interment Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. William was born February 18, 1941 in Detroit the son of William and Irene(Uzarski) Donahue. He married Janet L. Scott in Dearborn November 27, 1965. William proudly served in the US Army. He was employed in the Trucking Industry for many years, retiring in 1994. William was a member of the Brighton American Legion Post. He enjoyed touring lighthouses, traveling throughout Michigan and Cruising. Surviving: wife, Janet; daughter, Karen (Mike) Lucas; grand daughters, Shelby Lucas, and Shayla Lucas; great grandson's, Aiden Michael Lucas, and Rylan Allen-William Lucas; sister, Arlene (James) Renshaw; nephews Michael Renshaw, and David Renshaw.
