DAVIS, William Jefferson, "Jeff" age 77, of Flint, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at Durand Senior Care and Rehab Center. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Hugh Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Crestwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. Friday and 10:00 a.m. Saturday until service at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Durand Senior Care and Rehab Center. Jeff was born March 13, 1933 in Cottonplant, Arkansas the son of the late Jefferson and Evelyn (Little) Davis. He married Yvonne Chrysler on March 18, 1995 in Flint. Jeff was employed by General Motors, Truck Plant in the paint department until his retirement and was a member of U.A.W. Local 659. Surviving are his wife, Yvonne; step-children, Rhonda Davis of Tennessee, Bryan Raver (Dorothy) of Florida, Roxanne Ross of St. Helen, MI, Rechelle Raver of Flint; 2 grandsons, Michael Herrell (Jackie) of Flint Twp, Joe Bernard (Jennifer) of Flint; 15 additional grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Deanna Dalton (Charles)and Francis Boyd, both of Arkansas. He was also preceded in death by step-sons, Brad Raver and Bill Herrell; grandson, Shawn Herrell and previous wife, Ellen "Na" Davis.
