William Laverne CLARK

CLARK, William Laverne - Age 75, of Grand Blanc, died Friday, September 9, 2011. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Fr. Gary McInnis will officiate. Visitation will be held 12-4 & 6-8 PM Tuesday and 11 AM until the time of service Wednesday. William was born April 16, 1936 in Kalamazoo, the son of Maurice and Helen Clark. He retired from Ameritech in 1993 with over 39 years of service. Mr. Clark enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and was an avid U of M Fan. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Surviving are: wife, Peggy; children, Karen (Bob) Donaldson, Cindy Trimble, Craig Clark, Kevin (Linda) Clark, Cheryl (Joel) Back; step-children, Gail (Dan) Garrison, Kevin Leonard, Eric Leonard; 15 grandchildren; sister, Bette (Don) Green; brothers-in-law, Sean Cooke, John Miller, Rev. Bruce Badder; sister-in-law, Sharon Clark; dear friend, Bev Leonard. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marilyn Clark; parents; sister, Donna Badder; brother, Robert Clark; sister-in-law, Anne McCabe.
