William Ellis Church

CHURCH, William Ellis- Age 61, of Davison, died Thursday, July 12, 2007 at Avalon Hospice.  A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 17,2007 at Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 4323 Davison Rd, Burton.  Pastor Patrick Stybert officiating.  Visitation will be held at the church from 1:00 PM until time of service Tuesday.  Those desiring may make contributions to Avalon Hospice.  William was born September 10, 1945 in Miami, West Virginia, the son of Clarence and Samantha (Isaac) Church.  Hemarried Billie Jean McAbee August 23, 1975 in Kingsville, OH.  He had resided in Davison for the past year coming from Eckerman.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.  He was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church and the American Legion in Hulbert.  Surviving are wife, Billie Jean; son, Paul Church and fiancee Sarah Sanchez of Bridgeport; 3 granddaughters, Samantha, Nichole and Carissa; 3 sisters, Margaret Vencl, Alice Williams and JoAnn Brydle; 4 brothers, Henry, James, Fred and Jerry Church; many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Mable LaMont and Mary Slack.  Friends may share an online condolence at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
