William Hank 'Billy' CARPENTER

CARPENTER, William Hank "Billy" - Age 32, of West Bend, WI formerly of Flint, died Wednesday, June 2, 2010 in Wisconsin. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, June 7, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, with Pastor Scott Southerland officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday and Sunday from 1-4 and 6-9 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the William H. Carpenter Memorial Fund. Billy was born October 21, 1977 in Flint, the son of William Henry and Patricia Ann (Todd) Carpenter. He married Joette Gilliam February 9, 2002 in Flint. He was a 1997 graduate of Mt. Morris High School. Billy worked for the Carpenters Union in Wisconsin and Michigan. He had attended Hopewell Baptist Church and had taken mission trip to Honduras. He also was a member of the Young Marines and the Owosso/Millington Boxing Club. Surviving are: wife, Joette; 2 sons, Joseph and Matthew; Parents, William and Patricia Carpenter of Harrisville; in-laws, Larry and Karen Gilliam of Florida and Joyce Gilliam and Jerry Howart of Swartz Creek; brother, James Carpenter of Harrisville; grandmother, Beatrice Todd of Burton; nieces and nephews, James, Avery, Josh, Ashlyn, Noelani, Matthew and Lachlan; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; close friends, Mike Mathews, Chris Vickerman and Rick VanBonn.
