William Carnes

Carnes, William Jeff - Age 89, of Lennon, formerly of Burton, died May 31, 2022. No services will be held. Interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. William was born May 4, 1933 in Barbersville, KY., the son of James and Arlie (Cobb) Carnes. He served his country proudly in United States Army during Korea. William retired from General Motors. He was a jokester and loved fixing things for others. William also loved his vegetable gardening. He is survived by his 4 children, Kirby (Marie) Carnes of Lennon, Annette (Kevin) Murphy of Davison, Jannette (John) Dezell of Waterford, Sandra Paul (Brian Ogle) of Grand Blanc; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and his former neighbors in Burton.
