William Calvin CAMPBELL

CAMPBELL, William Calvin - Age 47, of Argentine, died Monday, September 20, 2010. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St, Linden. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday from 12:00 PM until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the William C. Campbell Memorial Fund. William was born December 31, 1962 in Pontiac, the son of Calvin C. and Eleanor C. (Dinser) Campbell. He was a 1981 graduate of Linden High School. He had worked for Allied Systems in Flint as a Master Diesel Mechanic. William had resided in Argentine for the past 14 years coming from Fenton and Clarkston. He was an avid car enthusiast, hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman. Surviving are: wife, Lisa; son, William "Billy" Campbell; daughter, Heather Campbell; sister, Charlotte Fields; brother, Captain Shelby "Skip" Meredith and wife Janet; 2 nephews, Able Seaman Shelby L. and wife Christina Meredith and Harley Guenther; niece, Nedra Rae and husband Dave Barney; several other nieces and nephews.
