William Boone

Boone, William, A. "Bill", age 79, of Flint, passed away Friday, May 23, 2008.  Funeral services will be 12 PM, Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc Township.  Visitation will be Tuesday, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM, and one hour prior to service, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery.  Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.  Bill was born in Flint the son of Arthur and Tillie (Ford) Boone.  He serviced 21 years in the U.S. Air Force and retired after 15 years with GM at the V8 engine plant. Bill is survived by his wife Lisa (Dung Vo), whom married February 2, 1970 in Vietnam, daughter Kathy  D. Boone and Mark Lee of Glendale AZ., twin daughters Lynda A. and Gloria A. Boone both of Flint, son Randy W. Boone of Flint, 3 granchidren Tayler Lee, Bryce C. Kirby, Chyna R. Smalley, sisters; Dorothy (Larry)Frye of Flushing, Mary (Bill) Cole of Linden, brothers Charles (Carol) Boone of Flint, Francis (Chris) Boone of Grand Blanc many nieces and nephews, Grandpa Khiet, "Buddy" Jim Whitney, and many more friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers Robert and Jimmy Boone.
