BLIMKA, William M. - Age 72, of Holly, disciple of the King of Kings entered paradise on October 1, 2017. Funeral services will be held on Saturday October 7, 2017 at 3:00 PM with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM until the time of service at First Baptist Church of Fenton, 860 N Leroy St, Fenton. Pastor James Bell and Pastor Josh Gates will officiate. Those desiring may make contributions to the Children's Ministry at First Baptist Church of Fenton. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. William was born November 8, 1944 in Pontiac, MI, the son of William and Mildred Blimka. He worked for General Motors for 35 years and retired in 2000. On August 13, 1988 William married Joanne Maschari and they have shared the best years of their lives together. William was very active in the children's ministries at First Baptist Church of Fenton and was a faithful bus driver for the Wednesday night children's ministries. William had a passion for restoring old vehicles, creating gardens, and spending time with his family. He was a loving and faithful husband, father, and grandfather. Surviving are: his wife, Joanne; children, Bill (Kathy) Blimka, Kimberly (Gary) Propst, John (Rebecca) Blimka, and Breanna Allen; grandchildren, William, Christian, Mandy, Alyssa, and Noah; three great-grandchildren; step-father, Frank Kovacs; sister, Cynthia Argetsinger; and numerous nieces and nephews. William was preceded in death by: his father, William Blimka; mother, Mildred Kovacs; and son, James Maschari. Tributes may be shared on the obituaries page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
