William Fortunate BERGEMANN

BERGEMANN, William Fortunate - Age 85, of Fenton, died Thursday, September 1, 2011. Private services have been held. Mr. Bergemann was born February 20, 1926 in Chicago, IL, the son of William Frederick and Katherine (Fortunate) Bergemann. He was a veteran of WWII serving in U.S. Army. He married Janet Ann Olsen December 3, 1947 in Chicago, IL. He retired from General Motors Truck and Coach in Pontiac after 33 years of service. Mr. Bergemann was a member of Fenton United Methodist Church and the V.F.W. Surviving are: wife, Janet; 3 daughters, Cathy Lavis of Naperville, IL, Julie Carpenter and husband Thomas of Eaton Rapids and Amy Costello and husband Kirk of Davisburg; 3 grandchildren, Allison Williams and husband Robert of Illinois, Thomas Carpenter, Jr. and wife Dayna of Maryland and Mark Shipman and wife Jennifer of Waterford.
