William James Banacki

BANACKI, William James -- Age 60, of Flushing, was welcomed Home by the Lord on Friday, October 19, 2007 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at Trinity Assembly of God, 4363 W. Mt. Morris Rd., Mt. Morris, Pastor Larry Alverson officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be 1-8 PM Sunday and Monday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek; and 10 AM until the time of service Tuesday at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society or Trinity Assembly of God Missionary Funds. Mr. Banacki was born January 12, 1947 in Flint the son of William John and Audrey (Adams) Banacki. He was married to Janice L. Tribble on April 25, 1975 in Flint. He had worked for A.C. Spark Plug for five years. Mr. Banacki was the Founder of Pro-Clean Laundry and Dry Cleaners. He enjoyed fly fishing and traveling. He was a member of the Trinity Assembly of God. Mr. Banacki was a wonderful family man, father, husband, and friend. Surviving are: his wife Janice; two daughters, Kristen and husband Jeremiah Owen of Macomb, Lori Banacki of Lansing; mother Audrey Banacki; siblings, Catherine and husband Russell Isham of Swartz Creek, Phillip and wife Teresa Banacki of Swartz Creek, Karen and husband Don Schwieman of Flushing, Cheryl and husband Doug Kidd of Swartz Creek; mother-in-law, Josie Tribble of Flint Township; brothers-in-law, Ron and wife Gale Tribble of Flint Township, Greg and wife MaryAnne Tribble of Flint Township; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Mr. Banacki was preceded in death by his father, William John Banacki in 1992; nephew, Matthew Banacki in 2000; and father-in-law, Gerald Tribble in 2006. A special thanks is extended to the family and friends that supported Mr. Banacki and his family during his illness especially Dr. James Lum.
