Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, MI., Thursday from 4-8 PM and Friday from 10 AM until the time of the service. Bill was born April 17, 1974, in Redlands, CA, the son of Pete and Irene E. (Boersma) Andringa. He was a 1992 graduate of Central Valley Christian High School in Visalia, CA; he received a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Science from Calvin University in Grand Rapids, MI. He married Rebecca Lynn Talbot August 10, 1996, and she preceded him in death February 12, 2010. He then married Carla Jean Pertler March 19, 2011, and she preceded him in death August 15, 2022. Bill had resided in the Genesee County area for the past 28 years, coming from Grand Rapids, MI. He was employed by the City of Fenton Police Department since January 5, 1998. He loved Ford Mustangs, WWII History, politics, planes, and debating.
Surviving are: his children, Brent Andringa of Burton, MI and Michelle (Nick) Andringa-Abbott of Oak Harbor, WA; parents, Pete and Irene Andringa of Grandville, MI; siblings, Ben (Sharon) Andringa of Holland, MI and Mary (Lynn) Faber of Byron Center, MI; fiancée, Lora Crook of Burton, MI and her children, Jenna Nydam of Louisville, KY, Skyler Rose of Burton, MI and Connor Nydam of Lawrenceburg, KY; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his son, Jason Andringa, and his older brother, Randy Andringa. Tributes may be shared at
